Biography

My strong, healthy husband - partner in a CPA firm and avid CrossFit enthusiast, was recently diagnosed with Follicular Large Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 46. He is confident and feeling positive about his prognosis, and I am here trying to network with others for information and support. So far, one Dr. had advised "chemo now because it's grade 3" and a second opinion has been "watch and wait, my pathologist thinks it's on the border of grade 2/3A." What a confusing situation - with no clearly defined path forward for now. I have scheduled an appointment at MD Anderson in Houston on August 24. I am looking for a skilled hematology oncologist in Orlando, FL with experience in follicular lymphoma (any suggestions?) so he can receive treatments and follow up care closer to home. We have two teenage daughters living at home.
